Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the ziptoken API, you agree to these Terms. If you are using ziptoken on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
2. The service
ziptoken provides a prompt compression API and web playground. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the API in accordance with your plan limits.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the service to process illegal content; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the compression model; (c) resell or white-label the API without a commercial partnership agreement; (d) exceed your plan's rate limits or use automated means to circumvent them; (e) use the service to generate, facilitate, or distribute spam or disinformation.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to content you submit. By submitting content, you grant ziptoken a limited license to process it for the sole purpose of providing the compression service. We do not retain your content after processing.
5. API keys
You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure. Do not commit them to public repositories or share them. Immediately revoke any key you believe has been compromised. ziptoken is not liable for unauthorized use of your keys.
6. Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Refunds are available within 7 days of payment for annual plans if you have not exceeded 10% of your annual quota.
7. Uptime and SLA
We target 99.9% monthly uptime for the API. Scheduled maintenance windows (communicated at least 24 hours in advance) and force majeure events are excluded. Pro and Enterprise plans receive credits for downtime exceeding the SLA target.
8. Limitation of liability
ziptoken is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice for serious violations.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under the AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court.
